The common wisdom states that we shouldn't bury our talents, giftings or abilities in the ground. But then the talents Jesus is referring to were an extremely valuable unit of money, literally the Master's possessions. And He says to those who have, more shall be given. That doesn't sound like it's referring to natural talents or abilities to me. So, what do the talents actually represent?
