Colossians Pt.10, chapter 2: 16-17. What does it mean that the Sabbath and other aspects of the Mosaic Law are shadows, but the substance or body is Christ? Are we as Christians supposed to keep the Sabbath today out of obedience to God? What about where the scripture calls the Sabbath a perpetual covenant that is a sign between God and Israel forever? Doesn't that mean we should still keep it today? And doesn't the scripture talk about keeping the Sabbath in the coming Kingdom of Christ? How does that fit with the New Covenant?
