As a fellowship we met together for 9 years, between 2011-2019, trying to 'do' church in a way and form that was similar to that seen in the early church model. Here are some of the recordings from those meetings.
Judge Not - A look at the whole area of judging. As believers are we allowed to judge situations or people? What about the scripture that says, "Judge Not,"? Can we use the Word to judge people? How should we do this? Are there different Greek words used that help us know when we can judge and when we cannot? What about judging ministries or someone walking in sin in the congregation? Is there a way we can know we are making a righteous judgement?
The Afterlife - Heaven. Are there different types or levels of heaven, has anyone gone there yet and how many people will go there eventually? What happens in heaven, why do we need new heavens in the future, what will these new heavens be like and what exactly is the New Jerusalem?
The Afterlife Gehenna/Hell Fire. A brief chronology and overview of what will happen with the righteous and wicked dead at the return of Christ. Also what will happen to them during and after His 1,000 year reign upon the earth and the Great White Throne judgement that follows. A look at how the souls under the altar fit in with the afterlife and what are those places in the Bible called Gehenna, the lake of fire and Tophet.
The Afterlife Sheol and Hades. What is Abraham's bosom and who goes there. Did Jesus take it up to heaven with Him when He ascended on high? What is Sheol like and what are places like Tartaros and the abyss?
Resurrection and the Afterlife. A look at what will happen at the resurrection of the righteous and the wicked. We also start looking at Sheol and Hades as places in the afterlife.
"Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written down for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come," I Corinthians 10:11
